PROJECT ONE
We aimed high and landed among the stars with our first project - basic color theory. Students had the task of learning about primary, secondary and tertiary colors as well as mixing the latter colors and creating tints and shades. Please enjoy their hard work.
PROJECT TWO
Students learned about the basics of perspective, (creating a composition using fore, middle, and background space); and served up a healthy dose of one-point perspective with a side order of limericks. Bon appetit!
PROJECT THREE
Students we given a final project, that showcases their understanding of perspective. Students had the opportunity to draw three groupings of characters. Each grouping was placed in the foreground, middle ground and background. Within these spaces students then had to "fit" groupings of magazine images. Below is a sampling of what students achieved.
