PROJECT ONE- COLOR THEORY
Project one is a complete review of the basics of color theory. However, students not only learn about primary, secondary and tertiary colors; they explore the creation of shades and tints, while covering patterns and three dimensional construction of nautical stars.
PROJECT TWO
Perspective
Sixth graders were encouraged to develop three characters for placement in an area; one devoted for the foreground, middle ground and background. Next, they had to locate and fit, three magazine pictures for the space; and lastly create an environment. This is an initial lesson before delving deeper into perspective.
PROJECT THREE
Food in Perspective
Students created a composition of FOOD - a favorite theme! Enjoy the feast and the funny limericks.
